Sand casting for two organ projects execute by two organ builder:

Anfang 2001 setzten Winold van der Putten und Harm Kirschner gemeinsam den Wunsch in die Tat um, nach alter Methode Pfeifenmaterial auf Sand zu gießen. Drei Monate lang setzten sie sich mit der Materie auseinander. Dazu gehörte auch ein spontaner Besuch in der Göteborger Werkstatt von „GoArt“. Dort war Gregor Detzler mit seinen Kollegen damit beschäftigt, Platten für einen Principal 16´ aus reinem Zinn zu gießen. Kirschner und Putten konnten zwei Tage mitwirken.

Early in 2001 organ builder Winold van der Putten and master organ builder Harm Dieder Kirschner put the wish of casting on sand with the help of old methods into practice. Over three month they argue with this subject. A visit to the factory of „GoArt“ in Göteborg (Sweeden) was a part of this attempt. In their organ building shop Gregor Detzler and his employees were busy with casting a principal 16´ of 100% tin. Kirschner and Putten were happy taking part for two days.

Die Gießerei haben wir gemeinsam mit der Orgelmakerij van der Putten eingerichtet. Sie befindet sich in Finsterwolde NL.
